Abstract
The sentence “I invite you to celebrate” had not been so pertinent during the 2 years prior to this April 17, 2022. COVID-19 has kept us sad, worried, and busy. It is only now that we are beginning to see that we have almost defeated this enemy of health, which has kept us isolated and unable to carry out many of the activities that we have been accustomed to carrying out, as part of the lives of people with hemophilia or other coagulation disorders.
So, as we have risen victorious and re-empowered, when after having suffered the dramatic impact of HIV and Hepatitis C, which had snuffed out the lives of many in our community in the 1980s and 1990s, we must now react with much greater courage, strength, experience, knowledge, and optimism.
