Abstract
Save One Life, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people with bleeding disorders in developing and underserved countries, is expanding its footprint in Europe with a more structured approach. As an originally American organization, with headquarters near Boston, Massachusetts, and most board members also based in the USA, it is
important to have representatives on the ground in Europe as well. As part of this strategic growth, the organization had already in 2016 established a liaison in Germany and has now in 2025 also appointed ambassadors in Italy, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands.
This expansion marks a pivotal moment in Save One Life’s commitment to global equity in hemophilia care. The liaison and ambassadors are appointed to promote Save One Life in Europe. This role also includes developing partnerships with national hemophilia foundations, pharmaceutical companies, academic institutions, and foundations throughout Europe, ensuring that resources are effectively channeled to countries and individuals most in need.
